37 Weeks – FULL TERM!

Size of baby: about 6.5 lbs and 19-22 inches… the size of a WATERMELON!
Symptoms: This week I’ve been having loooootssss of braxton hicks contractions. I’ve also had my usual backache and rib soreness. I can’t wait to feel normal again.
Fetal Movement: Her movement is getting slower and slower (she’s not really moving less, just slower). She’s so strong now, though. She likes to push her little feet up in my ribs or on the top right corner of my stomach and her little elbows way on the left side of my belly above my hip bone.
Sleep: Absolutely terrible.
Cravings: I’ve been craving a good restaurant salad, which I finally got last night. I don’t know if it was a pregnancy-related craving though.
Belly Button: All flat and stretched. Pretty gross looking, actually.
Best Moment this Week: Just making it through it. And finally reaching full-term today. I’m ready to meet my baby girl.
What I Look Forward To: I look forward to the next couple of weeks (days, even?) monitoring my body for labor signs. I’m actually really excited to experience labor and delivery. I have a doctor’s appointment on Tuesday, too, which I’m excited about.
To-do List: pack hospital bag, install car seat, finish nursery, make labor playlist

  1. I always had the nesting instinct right before labour. I did all the chores and cleaning possible. That is the only sign I can think of. The day before I went into labour with you I was boiling potatoes and I clumsily and accidently spilt the boiling water on my wrist and arm, when I dropped the pan.So be careful Baby Mom to be.

  2. I hope I look this good when Im full term! Hey do you have a button? I would like to put you on my links page! email me if you want to share a link: dmk319 at gmail dot com…
