Dear Baby Girl,
In the last week or so you have started squeezing my hip with your chubby little legs while I’m carrying you. It’s just one of those things that makes me aware of how quickly you are growing. Two months ago I had to carry you gently with both arms, always making sure to support your head. Then you transitioned to keeping your head upright, so that you could observe the world around you. That was very exciting for me too, but I’ll never forget the first time I felt your strong little legs squeezing my hip for support. Ever since then you do it every time I carry you. It’s like you just figured out how much more stable you are that way. I know it’s not something you typically find in baby books, but it’s simply amazing to me so I thought I’d mark the occasion. With how fast time is going, I know it won’t be long before you’re hanging on me with your arms as well.
