Evita Pilar, You really got the hang of crawling this week! You’re absolutely impossible to contain. You love getting into things you’re not supposed to. You particularly love coke cans, water bottles, potted plants, wires, phones, and computers. As tiring at can be, it’s also pretty awesome. Lately I think you’ve been trying to sign. Whenever you see something you want (usually food) you reach your little hand out and open and close it while looking at me. Sometimes you take that little hand and pretend to put something in your mouth and chew. It’s soooo adorable. This week you also got your first real sickness- a stomach virus. It was inevitable. Your grandpa got it, then your Uncle D.J. got it, then your Uncle Diego got it, then your grandma got it, then you got it, and then I got it. Lots of vomiting and diarrhea for the both uf us. 🙁 It was terrible, but you kept smiling and crawling and playing right through it. Meanwhile I couldn’t even get out of bed. I’m glad it didn’t last very long. Yesterday it sounded like you were trying to repeat “Go!” You have this little play remote control that says it, and whenever I hear it I say it, and yesterday it finally sounded like you were saying it. Pretty neat!!!
