Eva: Week 34

Eva, this has been such a busy week for us! On Tuesday we went to Boo at the Zoo. You were in awe of all the kiddos running around in costume. Unfortunately we weren’t able to see any animals other than the flamingos. On Wednesday we took a 4 hour drive to San Antonio so that you could visit your great-grandmother Mamo, your Uncle Ryan, your Tia Ashley, and my auntie and cousins. We went to the Hill Country, went to a few Dia de los Muertos celebrations, and shopped. I was able to buy you some warmer clothes for our upcoming trip to Virginia. We also celebrated your first Halloween. You dressed as Pebbles from the Flinestones. Your grammy made the little outfit and I made a matching headband with a bone on it. We also visited with some friends we were stationed with in Hawaii, who have a one-year-old boy who spontaneously gave you your first kiss from a boy. It was so adorable. It seems you’ve been babbling more and more each week. I can’t wait until you can say real words. Tomorrow we drive back down to the Valley!
