Baby Eva, your first week in Africa has been pretty uneventful as far as action and adventure goes. However, you’ve used your time at home to begin to learn how to walk! You can now stand up on your own (without assistance) and balance for a good ten seconds or so. You’re obsessed with it now and spend a lot of your time on the floor in the drop-knee position if you’re not standing or crawling. You’ve only taken one step forward and then fallen, so I can’t really say you’ve taken your “first steps” yet. I really think it will be any day now before you do. You still love pushing your activity table around practicing. You’re still saying “cat” every time you see one, and it’s becoming more and more pronounced.
