I don’t have much to write about today, so I thought I’d follow The Paper Mama‘s eleven question prompt.
It’ll be fun to read this a few years from now.

1. If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to?
Hmm… I’m not sure. When I was four I changed my name to Ariel (as in The Little Mermaid), and wouldn’t answer people who called me by my real name. At this age, I think I’d go with my daughter’s middle name, Pilar.
2. Are you a collector of anything?
Stamps on my passport.
3. What is your first thought when you wake up?
I don’t think I have a consistent first thought, but I always eventually begin to put myself in the mindset for my morning run.
4. Do you prefer sweet or salty foods?
I can’t answer this. D always complains that I use way too much salt. He calls me a “chipper” because I love chips and nuts and anything salty. But I have a CRAZY sweet tooth too. Candy is one of the most difficult things for me to give up when I’m dieting.
5. Name one thing you miss about being a kid.
Being all-trusting and oblivious to most of the problems in the world. Not having to worry about the drama I try to avoid as an adult.
6. Are you a morning or night person?
Morning is when I have the most energy. There’s nothing like going for a walk on the beach under the stars, though.
7. List 5 items on your life’s to-do list:
-visit every continent (I still have Australia and Antarctica)
-climb Mt. Kilimanjaro (since I’m already here in Tanzania)
-buy a yacht or sailboat that my family and I can live and travel in
-learn to forgive and forget
-never ‘let myself go’
8. Share one thing that people may not know about you.
My middle name is Portia.
9. What is your all time favorite song, movie, and book?
Book- Choke by Chuck Palahnuik
Movie- Gone with the Wind
Song- Hardest question ever, but if I had to pick I guess it’d be “Badge of Pride” by Pennywise, because I’ve always sort of considered it my anthem.
10. Do you have any hidden talents?
Not that I can think of.
11. Are you a really clean or super messy person?

A little bit of both. I like things CLEAN, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t leave a bra hanging on my doorknob every now and then. I’m super organized with certain things; but I don’t always put things back where they’re supposed to go. I can’t stand when there are dirty dishes in the sink; but I follow the five-second-rule.

Let me know if you followed along too!
