As you’ve probably noticed, Eva and I live in our swimsuits. We try to go the beach and swim in the ocean every day that we can. While we’re swimming I like to let Eva go diaper-free; however, we usually walk or take a bejaji to the beach so I have to have her in a diaper until we get there. When it’s time to go in the water, I sometimes try this maneuver where I unsnap her diaper from underneath her swimsuit and try and pull it through one of the leg holes. Do you know what I’m talking about? It’s not easy with cloth diapers. I’m not trying to be lazy, but it’s even harder to get a one piece on and off a squirmy, sandy toddler. That’s why I was thrilled to hear about SnapMe Swimwear, swimsuits for babies that actually have snaps like a onesie so that you don’t have to remove the entire bathing suit for a diaper change. None of Eva’s collection of swimsuits from Target or elsewhere have anything like that. Why? Well, that’s beyond me. It seems like common sense to put snaps on a one piece. Finally someone did it, and their swimsuits are adorable. The sizes range from 6 months to 4T, making it convenient for toddlers in the potty-training stage. Thinking about how difficult it is to remove a wet one piece when I need “to go” makes me wish there were snaps on my lap swimming suits as well, haha. I’m so grateful to SnapMe for sending Eva the fabulous little Strawberry Hearts swimsuit to review. You can check out the other suits they have to offer on their website. You can also find them on facebook.
