Hello, bump! Everything seems to have gotten bigger this week- belly, boobs, butt… but my weight has still managed to stay the same. That can only mean one thing. Muscle atrophy. Wah wah wah wah. I can’t complain too much, though, because at this point in my last pregnancy I was already up about 10lbs. I know I’m eating enough food (overindulging if anything) and I am (for the most part) sticking with my workouts, so I’m not too concerned with the lack of weight gain, for now. I’m not particularly happy about it, though. I always think it’s weird/creepy when thin/normal girls don’t gain enough weight during pregnancy. Everybody is different, though, I guess. And every pregnancy is different, that’s for sure. Some mild heartburn finally arrived yesterday. I had it early on with Eva (starting at about 8 weeks) and it got so bad that it kept me up at night. Hopefully the fact that it has started much later this time is a good sign. Other than that, I’ve been feeling pretty fatigued again this week but it may just be that my body is still recovering from last week’s illness. (I was better by Sunday/Monday, in case you’re wondering). My next doctor’s appointment is next week so hopefully I’ll have a more interesting update then!
